Boots Opticians poke fun at often clichéd luxury goods commercials in this new spot to position the retailer as the home of stylish and affordable eyewear. Directed by Vincenzo Calamari, sorry, Vince Squibb, through Academy Films and created by Ogilvy UK, the film has its cake and eats it by giving a knowing wink to fashion and fragrance ads while keeping its stylish range suitably unaffected by the humour.
